Introducing Jake’s Diapers Tanzania Diaper Drop!

KatieJake’s Diapers is excited to introduce our Tanzania Diaper Drop! Donna will be traveling to Tanzania, and going to the high desert region & savannah of Northern Tanzania. Tanzania is one of the poorest countries of the world, with most of the population subsisting on less than $2 a day. Electricity, running water, and paved roads are not available in the remote region Donna is traveling to.

The people that Donna will be sharing the love of Jesus and the gift of modern cloth diapers with are subsistence farmers who live in a nearly cashless society. Many of the people are related to the nomadic herder tribes such as the Masai, but are no longer nomadic. Herding is still the main livelihood. There are over 100 babies in need of cloth diapers. Diapers are washed in streams or in buckets and sanitized by being hung to dry on bushes in the plentiful Tanzania sun.

If you would like to help these babies and our work here at Jake’s Diapers, please share our story. We run on prayers, shares, cash and cloth; and you never know who may be able to help us in this journey. We also have a variety of business buddies, including The Little Bee Co, with whom we have set up a wishlist for this Diaper Drop (http://thelittlebeeco.com/my-lists/view-a-list/?wlid=1749)  .  For every diaper donated, The Little Bee Co. matches that donation, and two diapers go to babies in need! If you would like to bless Jake’s Diapers with a monetary donation, our mailing address is below and we have a Paypal account (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=ZQVXYYZJ7BHZE).
